AWANA stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” and is based on 2 Timothy 2:15. Through engaging, Bible-centered activities, AWANA teaches children that God is real, that He loves them, and that He demonstrated His love through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Each week, clubbers participate in Handbook Time, Game Time, and Large Group Time, creating an exciting and meaningful experience from beginning to end. Theme nights, special incentives, and awards are also included, so there is always something new to enjoy.
At the heart of AWANA is the Bible, God’s Holy Word.
“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” Psalm 119:11 KJV
What Is the Goal of AWANA at EABC?
Our goal is to partner with parents as we help children grow in their knowledge and understanding of God’s Word. We want every child to develop a strong foundation of faith and become the world-changing disciple God created them to be—at home, in their schools, in their communities, and beyond.
